Cynthia P. ("Cyndi") Helfrich Attorney at Law

I began the practice of law in Brownsburg, Hendricks County, in 1998.   I have been a sole practitioner, a public defender, and a partner in two small law firms.  In May 2019, I was pleased to open a new office in downtown Greenfield, which has become my primary location.  With a second location of Helfrich Law Offices remaining in Hendricks County, in Plainfield, I am now able to serve clients across central Indiana.

In my practice, I am intentionally a “generalist”, with extensive experience in criminal defense, family law, guardianships, adoptions, real estate transactions, small business law, banking law, estates and trusts, civil and probate litigation and estate administration.  I am also trained as a family law mediator and have served extensively as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litem, speaking for those who are not able to speak for themselves.

I have experience litigating cases in trial courts throughout Indiana, before both Judges and Juries.  I also have extensive experience in appellate law, having argued cases before both the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Indiana Supreme Court.
